Electromagnetic drum separators are commonly used in the iron and steel industry for the separation of scrap metal.

They consist of an electromagnetic unit placed inside a rotating drum, with carrier and stripper blades mounted on the drum surface. Thanks to their strong magnetic field, they can separate large and heavy metal parts effectively.
